How does student voice impact learning outcomes in classrooms? What does it take to work as equals with your students? This course highlights the importance of working in partnership with our students and the impact it can have on both students and us,as educators. It will also equip you with strategies you can recreate in your classroom, to drive student voice.
Through this course, teachers will explore what working in partnership with our students can look like. They will understand the role of student voice in driving meaningful learning experiences as well as explore toolkits that will allow them to do so.
This course consists of 5 sections:
- Section 1 : Feel - In this section, you will experience what it feels like to work in partnership as well as reflect on your current opinion towards working in partnership with your students
- Section 2: Imagine - In this section, you will explore the meaning and importance of partnership as well as what it can look like in action.
- Section 3: Do - In this section, you will look at different toolkits and strategies to build partnership with your students.
- Section 4: Share - In this section, you will identify ways to spread the idea of partnership beyond your classroom.
- Section 5: Assessment - Here we will be able to reflect on what we have learnt in this course.
