KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE - THE CHILD SAFETY MODULE
Firki, in partnership with HAQ: Centre for Child Rights and Arpan, is proud to launch the Child Safety Module.
The module includes 4 courses that will cover the following aspects:
Child Sexual Abuse; What we need to know.
Prevention of Children against Sexual Offenses (POCSO - The law process)
Handling disclosure: What to do if a child discloses sexual abuse against them.
Stakeholder awareness: How an educator can educate stakeholders about CSA and POCSO
Each of the modules is designed with the motive to create awareness around CSA and POCSO for our educators so as to be better prepared in preventing such cases in the classroom and creating an environment of support for children to open up.
