I noticed a typo in my name right after booking a couple of letters were transposed. Since Volaris is a low-cost carrier, I wasn't sure how flexible they'd be, but here's what I found out:

Have your booking reference and ID ready; they'll need to verify identity before making any changes.
Online options exist; you can also try managing it through "My Trips" on their website before calling.
Complete name changes (different person) are not permitted per airline policy.
The whole process took about 20 minutes on the phone. The agent was helpful and confirmed the updated name via email the same day.
