Following SST I and II, this course looks at three different aspects to make SST lesson better - Integration, Use of textbooks and other resources and Assessments.

This course will take you through three different aspects that can be employed to take our Social Studies Instruction to the next level. This will help students and teachers look at SST as a subject that is connected with other subjects, expose them on ways to use SST textbooks and how to use different types of assessments to evaluate student learning.

For an effective learning experience, please switch off any notifications, use a notebook to write down your learning and questions as you take the course. It consists of 5 sections.

Section 1- In this section, you will be exploring the idea of integration(of SST with other subjects) and also examine your current approach towards it. You will also reflect on how you currently use resources and assess students’ learning.

Section 2- In this section, you will explore integration between SST and other subjects, the advantages and disadvantages of textbooks and different assessment tools that can be used in SST 

Section 3- In this section, you will explore different ways to integrate SST topics, effective usage of textbooks and other relevant resources and create assessments to evaluate learning

Section 4- In this section, you will think of ways to share your reflections and learning about the three different things you learnt in this course.

Section 5- In this section, you will take a test to check your understanding of the material covered in the course.
