As a result of this course, you will be able to relate to the need of holistic education. You will also learn to plan for imparting holistic education through non-traditional subject areas.

Thank you for embarking on this journey. The traditional subject areas taught in schools – reading, writing, science, arithmacy help stimulate and develop one aspect of a child’s development – Cognitive. But a child’s development, their holistic development consists of social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. These aspects are left wanting in their development in our current system of education. The holistic development of a child, includes developing all aspects of them.

This course will help understand these forms of development and offer ways to include them in your current teaching practice.

RS.2.2a- Understanding various aspects of holistic development of students and setting high standards for them.
