Love and care are essential needs for children of all ages. This course will help you learn what the Approach of Love looks like in a classroom, and how you can provide a healthy and loving environment to your students.
Through this course, teachers will understand what Love as an Approach means, why it’s important, and what it can look like in a classroom. Teachers will learn different strategies that will help them embody the Approach of Love themselves, as well as teach it to the students in their classroom.
This course consists of 5 sections:
- Section 1 - Feel: In this section, we will reflect on our own experiences and learn why it’s important to operate with Love at all times.
- Section 2 - Imagine: In this section, we will explore examples through history where Love has led to revolutionary changes in society and understand why it’s important in education.
- Section 3 - Do: In this section, we will go through different structures that will help you embody the Approach of Love.
- Section 4 - Share: In this section, we will look at ways to share what we have learnt about Love as an Approach and spread the learnings to our classroom and beyond.
- Section 5 - Assessment: Here we will be able to reflect on what we have learnt in this course, and identify the concepts we will need to revisit or revise.
