Through this course, we will explore the current challenges that teachers and students face in Math instruction and then explore the vision for Math instruction. We will also look at some of the mindsets regarding learning Math and some strategies that we can use to overcome those mindsets.

This course explores the different challenges that teachers and students face in teaching and learning Math and some strategies to overcome those challenges.

It consists of 5 sections.

Section 1- You will reflect on your current beliefs and practices when teaching Math. You will also explore the challenges that students and teachers face in learning and teaching Math.

Section 2-  You will examine what the vision and goals for teaching and learning Math is.

Section 3-  You will explore ways, tips and strategies to overcome the challenges that  students face while learning Math.

Section 4-Here, we will explore different ways to share our learning and best practices with our peers.

Section 5-We will check what we have learnt through this course by answering a set of questions.
