This course will help you to explore the features of Science as a subject and get an in - depth knowledge of the current challenges associated with teaching Science at a secondary stage. Teachers will also explore the role of a Science student and a teacher in a classroom.
Secondary Science I explores the nature of Science as a subject and gives users exposure to the features of Science as listed by NCERT and also challenges of teaching Science. A Science student needs to display certain characteristics essential to build a Scientific mindset and the teacher plays a crucial role in creating experiences that enable students to nurture these characteristics. In this course, teachers will get a chance to read about these features and learn strategies to effectively engage their students in learning Science.
