Reading is one of the key ways of communication and Reading Fluency is the first step towards reading. Taking this course will help a teacher to understand how to teach Reading Fluency so that our children can read fluently. Reading Fluency also acts as a stepping stone towards learning Reading Comprehension and Writing.

This course explores what Phonemic & Phonological Awareness and Phonics are

It consists of 5 sections:

Section 1- In this section, we will do a recap of what we learnt in the course Reading Fluency –I and reflect on how we have been applying the learning from this course in our class.

Section 2-  Here, we will explore what Phonemic and Phonological Awareness (PPA) and Phonics are and the different skills under each of them.

Section 3-  In this section, we will  create a lesson vision for a Phonemic and Phonological Awareness(PPA)  and Phonics lesson.

Section 4-Here, we will explore different ways to share our learning and best practices with our peers.

Section 5-We will check what we have learnt through this course.
