In this course you will learn about India's educational landscape. We will learn about the various bodies that regulate education, the current set up of schools, go over some data points to know more about the current reality of the educational setup and look at some best practices in the country for imparting education.
India is a diverse country and the world's second most populous nation. We have a huge responsibility to educate our youth and adults. In this course we will read about the existing state of education in our country, read about the opportunities and challenges we are facing, go over some best practices and also read about the bodies that govern education. This course will give you a beginner's overview of what education in India looks like and as teachers you will be able to be more mindful of the opportunities and challenges of the system while teaching in the classroom.
